Reflecting on change, 25 years in

December marked the end of CISA's 25th anniversary year. This landmark gave us the opportunity to reflect on how our local food and farm system has changed in recent decades, and it also invited thoughts about change itself: how individuals can spark change, how collaboration carries it forward, and how institutionalization can protect and sustain that change.

Read more about the trajectory of change in CISA's monthly column in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

And our deepest thanks to everyone who helped us reach our bold goal of raising $250,000 in our 25th year! With your support, we look ahead to new challenges and new work.

"The first Sanderson who farmed goes back to the 1600s," Alan Sanderson Jr. told us. For many of those centuries the Sandersons made their living running a small dairy farm, but big changes have happened on Fairview Farms throughout Alan's life.
