What's in season? Late summer and early fall crops!

Find local everywhere

This month, you can still find summer favorites like corn, tomatoes, and melon, AND fall crops are starting to come in too -- apples, squash, and more.

Apple taste-test

We went on WWLP's Mass Appeal to sample some early apple varieties from Clarkdale Fruit Farms.

Looking for a little seasonal inspiration?

Land Use and Climate Change

A vast new report, Climate Change and Land, from the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, lays out in stark detail the impacts of human land use on global warming and the opportunities that land offers for remediation and adaptation to a changing climate.

Read more about this, and what it means locally, in CISA's column in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Local Hero Profile: Pop's Farm

On a peaceful street in Hatfield sits Pop's Farm, a small, family run, multi-generational farm growing squash, decorative corn, flowers, and more.
