Hiring: Executive Director – Central Mass Grown

Founded in 2014, Central Mass Grown’s mission is to promote the purchase of local agricultural products and to foster the education about its benefits to health, communities, the economy, and the environment. Central Mass Grown seeks to hire an Executive Director. This is a new position which will report directly to the Board of Directors.   Responsibilities include overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization.   S/he will work with Central Mass Grown’s the board of directors, consultants, and volunteers and potentially growing staff.   Key responsibilities include organizational administration and business management, leadership and strategic planning; and oversight of fundraising, communications, marketing and community outreach.

This position will begin as a part-time (25-30 hours per week) contract position with minimal benefits with the potential to grow to full time.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.  The new executive director should be local to Central Massachusetts, with ability to travel around the region.
