FARM CREW

The farm crew works in many aspects of crop production with the majority of hours spent harvesting, washing and packing produce. A typical day starts with harvesting from fields and high tunnels including bunching herbs, picking tomatoes, etc. and ends with washing and packing what was harvested in the morning. We wash and pack a lot of  baby greens! Crew members also do greenhouse work, transplanting, weeding, remay management, tomato trellising and farm projects.

This is a great entry level job if you are interested in production agriculture. Through executing tasks on the the farm you will learn a lot;  from how to trellis a tomato plant, to how to bunch herbs, to how to pack product to meet customer expectations and more. Previous farming experience is helpful but not required for this position. This is a physically demanding job and all applicants should be able to move quickly, bend, kneel and stand for long periods and work in all weather.=

Full time farm crew positions have a spring start date and run into November. This is a full time position with hours ranging from 35-55 hours per week. Work schedule is Monday-Friday. At the height of the season the work day starts at 6am. All applicants must be able to work the full 6-8 month season and all 5 days per week. Our farm runs year-round and there would be a possibility of winter hours.

Part-time positions are three or four FULL days per week.

Pay starts at $12/hour and is commensurate with experience.
