Hiring: Market Manager – Belchertown Farmers’ Market

Full-time Farmer’s Market Manager

$15.00/hr  ($2,040 for the season payable in 4 installments)

We are a growing market located in the center of Belchertown. We are looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to help expand our customer and vendor base. The position would entail soliciting new vendors, informing customers about what will be available at markets each week, planning some community events or entertainment and managing the market on Sunday morning for late May until early October.

• Open availability on Sundays a must
• Ability to work with people
• Willingness to learn and manage the SNAP program and credit card transactions during the market
• Must have an interest/passion for local and regional goods
