Hiring: Wholesale/CSA Accounts Manager – Red Fire Farm

Red Fire Farm, a leader in organic farming with more than 100 acres in cultivation, needs a new Wholesale/CSA Accounts Manager. We grow for several markets — CSA, wholesale, retail — and we grow pretty much every crop that can survive in this climate. We’re looking for someone who is hard working and has all the skills and expertise of an office accounts manager, but does it farm style.

Here are some of the many fun things you’ll be doing at Red Fire in this role:

CSA Responsibilities

• Supervise and hire all CSA site coordinators and farmers’ market staff
• Manage 1500 member CSA, including distribution sites across the state
• Serve as point person and main contact for all CSA coordinator and member questions, orders, and correspondence
• Coordinate supplies, schedules, and communication for farmers’ markets

Wholesale Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with farm owner and Harvest Manager to create wholesale availability list
• Create wholesale harvest lists every Sunday for Harvest Manager
• Serve as primary point of contact and account manager for all wholesale and distribution clients
• Update and maintain wholesale purchasing systems and tracking including purchase orders, invoices, monthly statements, and individual wholesale client account systems
• Maintain current accounts while growing our sales

• Able to identify, talk about, and sell a wide variety of vegetables
• Understand the ins and outs of a farm or CSA from previous work experience
• Computer savvy and proficient in Excel and Quick Books
• A people-person and a problem-solver

Full time, Monday through Friday with some Sunday availability. $13-$15/hr depending on experience.
