Internship: Greenfield Community College Farmers’ Market Intern – CISA

CISA welcomes interns to work and learn with us. Most of our internships are unpaid, but if you are a student we will work with your school to help you get credit, participate in a school-funded internship program, or earn work-study hours.

If you are interested in an internship for this or future semesters, please send your resume and a cover letter to Jennifer.

Farmers’ Market Intern

Open to GCC students only CISA’s Summer Farmers’ Market Interns will support efforts to enhance community outreach and community engagement activities at farmers’ markets. Tasks will include (1) outreach and education to community partner organizations about CISA’s “SNAP and Save” program, which matches purchases made with SNAP (formerly food stamp) benefits at farmers’ markets; and (2) planning and conducting activities at farmers’ market to add value for SNAP recipients and other customers. In addition, interns will support more general CISA activities including distribution of outreach materials, collecting and analyzing evaluation data, outreach to business members, website updates, and event logistics. Weekly schedule will vary due to need to attend different farmers’ markets and will sometimes include weekend hours. Applicants must be currently enrolled at Greenfield Community College to be eligible for this internship. Find more information here.
