Hiring: Harvest Crew – Natural Roots

Hiring: Harvest Crew – Part-time, less than 10 hours per week.

Natural Roots is a horse-powered vegetable farm utilizing organic methods in Conway, MA offering CSA shares to our local community.  Our farm is graced by the South River, which runs between our crop fields and our roadside CSA distribution barn. We cross the river either through a ford by horse and wagon or over it by foot, on a wooden suspension bridge.

We are looking to hire 1 or 2 crew members to help on harvest days, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 8:30am to 12:30pm for July and August, with the opportunity for increased hours and extended employment through October.  Responsibilities will include harvesting a variety of veggies for our CSA, weeding, and wash-up.  Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and be willing to reliably work in all weather conditions.  Previous farming experience is preferred, but not required. Pay starts at $12/hour depending on experience.
