Hiring: Washroom Manager- Kitchen Garden Farm

Kitchen Garden Farm in Sunderland, MA, is hiring a Washroom Co-Manager who will be responsible for washing and packing a large variety and volume of produce grown on our organic farm. This is a collaborative role sharing responsibilities with an experienced returning co-manager. This is a 4 day/week position, 45+ hours/week. The work day is approximately 7am-7pm and the schedule is Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri, beginning in May.

Washroom tasks involve washing and packing vegetables, overseeing and completing daily orders and shipments, organizing a clean, efficient workspace that meets food safety requirements, and supervising other workers. Managers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and restocking supplies to ensure smooth washroom operations. Other harvest and production tasks in the field will be assigned when orders are completed.

We are looking for high-energy, detail-oriented, self-motivated applicants with good communication and organizational skills and ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Some experience managing co-workers and/or independently and self-sufficiently is required. On the job training will be provided in reach truck and equipment operation, order management software (Local Food Marketplace), and food safety protocols.

Wage is $17/hour plus overtime > 40 hours/week, plus organic vegetables.
