Plus: farmers' markets, asparagus, and Senior FarmShare!
Our Locally Grown: Farm Products Guide is out now!

CISA's annual printed guide to local food and farms, Locally Grown: Farm Products Guide, is out, and we can't wait to share it with you!

The Guide contains details on 435 local farms, restaurants, retailers, specialty producers, dining services, and garden centers, and a lot more.

We'll be dropping copies at grocery stores, libraries, farm stands, and more locations over the next month, so keep your eyes open, or contact our office at 413-665-7100 to get a copy mailed to you!

Local farms, weather, and climate change

Farming has always been a weather-dependent business -- local farmers make their plans and do their work despite unknowable future conditions, and they are flexible, resilient, and hard-working in the face of weather-related challenges. The most important thing that we, the community that supports local farmers, can do is reflect that flexibility and resilience back at them.
