Looking For Farming Couple or Family To Live On & Help Manage Established Farm:

Seeking a couple or family that is passionate about farming to live on our farm in a 5 bedroom farm house.  At least one adult (& possibly both) must work for the farm in a management capacity.  We need help managing various aspects of the farm including our farm stand, CSA distributions, facilities maintenance, crop production & harvest management.

Located in the 5 college area of Western MA, Red Fire Farm is a diverse certified organic vegetable & IPM Fruit farm in the 5 college area of western MA.  Our Granby location includes over 100 acres of farm land, with 30 -60 acres of vegetable crops grown each season.  Plantings of blueberries, raspberries & ribes, with plans to plant apples, peaches & pears over the next few years.  Six large greenhouses for greenhouse tomato & winter greens allow for year round harvests.

Looking for a long term situation with serious farmers.  Desirable skills include: retail food sales, produce crop production, carpentry / plumbing / electrical / machinery repair, tractor operation & pomology expertise.  Competitive salaried positions based on skills & experience.
