Red Fire Farm in Granby will be hosting its annual Cider Pressing and Harvest Party on Saturday. Oct. 3.
To be held at Red Fire's farm stand, the event has a "how-to" focus. Attendees can choose to order apples and bring jugs so that they can press their own cider.
Other fun things to do are also part of the day's events. Cider samplings as well as tastings of local apples and winter squash varietals will be featured, and fresh cider donuts will be available.
Cider pressing runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; apples can be ordered on line at redfirefarm.com
