Apex Orchards is a seventh-generation family farm located on a scenic hilltop in Shelburne, Massachusetts. Established in 1828, Apex Orchards has been growing high-quality fruit for nearly 200 years while welcoming visitors to experience the beauty and traditions of New England agriculture.

Known for breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, Apex Orchards offers fresh-picked fruit, events, local products, and seasonal family activities throughout the year.

What We Grow & Sell

Apex Orchards grows a wide variety of fruits, including:

Pears & Asian Pears

Visitors can enjoy:

Pick-Your-Own apples, peaches and sunflowers (seasonal)
Fresh apple cider
Famous hot mini cider donuts (weekends only)
Local cheeses and specialty foods
Wagon rides on weekends to and from our Pick Your Own Fields (bag or container purchase required)

Our farm store features fresh fruit, local products, cider, maple products, local veggies, jams, and seasonal specialties. Customers can stop in throughout the harvest season to enjoy the freshest flavors of western Massachusetts.

Our Winter Warehouse is located at 154 Peckville Road in Shelburne from December-April. Our Farm Store at 225 Peckville Road Shelburne is open August-December.

Located in the hills of Franklin County, Apex Orchards offers stunning panoramic views across Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
