Growing Practices: Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Located in the beautiful and friendly town of Northfield, Ma, at Cidercrossing we found the perfect place to fulfill our dream to start an apple orchard to produce artisan hard cider as well as to practice farming and living in a sustainable way. We are growing now a wide variety of vegetables following organic practices, but we are not certified.  We grow kale, swiss chard, tomatoes, a great variety of peppers (Italian, jalapenos, padrón, poblano, etc.), sweet corn, zucchini, squash, and many more. Just check the list below! Our farmstand is now open and we will be posting updates about what vegetables are in season.

Just Picked

Put on some clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirt on and spend an afternoon with family and friends discovering the local farms that grow our food. Keep in mind that harvest times are a little different every year. It’s always a good idea to call ahead to find out what’s available for picking.
