The Forster Family has been raising alpacas on the gentle scenic slopes of Grass Hill in Williamsburg, Massachusetts since 2006. The alpacas are shorn annually and the fiber is pooled with that of other local herdspeople and processed by a partnering company, the New England Alpaca Fiber Pool, that produces quality knitted products which we are proud to share with you! Many of our socks, mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats are made entirely here in New England!
We spend our weekends at ‘Pacastop, the family-run Cold-Weather Boutique located in our multi-use dining room, or weather permitting, down the road and outside of the girls’ shelter beside the ancient and destitute barn. Feel free to stop by for a visit. If you can’t find us, you’ll always find the alpacas, and you’ll discover that they are attentive listeners.
