Gwydyr Farm is a small hay and livestock operation located in Southampton, MA. Gwydyr is welsh for “Wild Land”. The farm has 70 acres of hay fields and 20 acres of pasture.
All Gwydyr Farm beef is dry aged, butchered, vacuum sealed, and rapidly frozen at a USDA inspected facility which guarantees that that beef will be as fresh as the day it was packed for 2-3 years. This means you can buy as much as you might want for the year and take it out of your freezer anytime.
The Lowline Angus and Hereford cattle on Gwydyr farm live on pastures year-round and are fed entirely on our own hay when they aren’t foraging for themselves. We practice rotational grazing to make sure that cattle have continuous access to fresh grass while protecting the soil and environment.
