About

Gwydyr Farm is a small hay and livestock operation located in Southampton, MA. Gwydyr is Welsh for “Wild Land”. The farm manages over 100 acres of hay fields and pasture.

All Gwydyr Farm beef and lamb is butchered, vacuum sealed, and rapidly frozen at a USDA-inspected facility, which guarantees that everything will be as fresh as the day it was packed for 2-3 years. This means you can buy as much as you want for the year and take it out of your freezer anytime.

The Lowline Angus and Devon cattle as well as Katahdin sheep live on pastures year-round and are fed entirely on our own hay when they aren’t foraging for themselves. We practice rotational grazing to ensure they have continuous access to fresh grass while protecting the soil and environment.
