About
Fresh lettuce year-round! Wellspring Harvest is the first commercial hydroponic greenhouse located in the Indian Orchard neighborhood of the City of Springfield. Crisp, nutritious leafy greens available for hospitals, schools, markets and through local supermarkets. The greenhouse employs six local residents and is organized as a for-profit worker-owned cooperative business. Wellspring Harvest is part of the Wellspring network of worker cooperatives that are creating jobs and wealth creation opportunities for low income Springfield residents. Tours of the greenhouse and demonstrations of hydroponic growing methods are available upon request.
