As you gear up for the arrival of new farm employees and seasonal crew members, let us help you put finishing touches on your employee onboarding plan. With an eye to Massachusetts-specific legal requirements and best management practices, this information-packed workshop will help you make sure you’re dotting your i’s and crossing your t’s from day 1 and building a solid groundwork for your employees during their initial days at your farm. CISA staffperson Kristen Wilmer will help you hone your employee onboarding checklist and schedule; brush up on legal posting, notification, and training requirements; and access resources to help you refine your employee policies and procedures. This workshop is open to all, and content will be relevant to both new and experienced farm managers.
The standard workshop cost is $10. We offer a sliding scale to ensure anyone can attend, and additional attendees from the same farm business are welcome to attend free of charge; we do not want finances to be a barrier to attendance.
