October 29 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Are you a farmer or experienced gardener seeking to initiate or transition to no-till methods? Join Seeds of Solidarity for this popular annual workshop filled with insights and techniques from years of experience. Through education, conversation, and hands-on learning, you’ll learn/expand on methods that utilize simple tools to build healthy soil, reduce labor and cost inputs, promote climate resilience, and increase your connection to the land. Several no-till techniques and ways of incorporating cardboard, tarping, and cover crops for successful, abundant small farms and gardens will be covered. Seasoned Seeds of Solidarity farmer Ricky Baruc will engage you in “how to,” and enthusiastic soil science researchers will explain the impact of no-till agro-ecological methods on building healthy soil. Sliding scale $60-$90.
