DESCRIPTION:Register here!  \nAs funding uncertainties and extreme weather events continue to rise\, this CISA workshop will help you understand the realistic challenges and opportunities of crowdfunding. Former CISA Executive Director and long-time fundraiser Phil Korman will share tips about when and how to run a crowdfunder\, and the ingredients for success. We’ll also hear from Maggie Toran from Natural Roots about their experience running a GoFundMe emergency fundraiser in 2023. If you want to learn more about crowdfunding\, whether you are considering it or feel unsure about it\, this workshop is for you.
