In the afternoon\, the local community is invited to campus to shop and learn at a farmers’ market and associated workshops. NMH’s goal: to build educational connections between youth and adults and between the food producers and consumers of the Pioneer Valley. \n11 am – 4 pm Open to alumni\, parents\, and the NMH community\n2 pm – 4 pm Open to the public \nAt the market in Beveridge Bowl: \n\nNMH and locally produced farm goods and gifts are for sale\, including fresh eggs\, cheeses\, maple syrup\, and bath products\nLocal farmers\, foresters\, and sustainability specialists hand out information and talk with visitors\nExperts discuss ways that the school and others can be greener\nNMH’s own furry and feathered farm animals are brought out for the public to pet and to study.
