DESCRIPTION:MDAR’s MassGrownWellness program will deliver a series of in-person and online training events for all Massachusetts agriculture community supporters\, including all farmers\, MDAR and professional staff\, and partner organization advocates. Click here to view all available in-person and virtual training sessions.  \nMarch 9th\, 6:00pm-8:00pm – Spanish Speakers Training: This remote 2-hour session\, offered in Spanish\, will raise awareness of mental health and stress on farms by discussing the stressors unique to farmers and farm families and how these affect their mental health and well-being. The training will identify the barriers farmers face when accessing resources and the methods to facilitate connection to available supports. Learn to make a new recipe with a food demonstration for kids from Green Fields Market. Taste fresh\, mini croissants baked by Rise Above Bakery using local flour\, butter\, and milk. The morning includes more local surprises\, so come check it out! \nStormy weather? No problem. The event will be held indoors at the Franklin Community Co-op event space at 170 Main Street.

Ryan Wilson is the co-owner of DeMeritt Hill Farm in Lee\, New Hampshire\, which offers pick-your-own apples/peaches/blueberries/Xmas trees\, hayrides\, school tours\, special events\, Cross Country running\, and hiking trails and has a full commercial kitchen.
