Please RSVP to alyssa@berkshiregrown.org or register here. \nWorkshops: \n\nYoga & Breathwork Class with Ciana Barnaba\, Certified Yoga Instructor & Breathwork Facilitator: A relaxed 1.5 hour movement session with techniques for energizing the body and helping to down-regulate a stressed nervous system.\nLabor-Movement Workshop with Cynthia Flores\, Certified Personal Trainer & Licensed Massage TherapistThe Labor-Movement workshop addresses better body mechanics and movement patterns related to farm tasks to increase productivity and help decrease workplace injuries.\n\nEach attendee will receive a Farmer Wellness Package with great resources and farmer self-care essentials and treats. \nRegistration fees: We charge a small registration fee:\n$20 – Berkshire Grown members\n$10 – BIPOC / Historically Underserved Farmers\n$30 – Non-members \n*We believe that financial barriers should not prevent anyone from participating in this workshop. Bardwell Farm utilizes limited tillage\, zone tillage\, no-till and cover cropping to enhance soil health and resiliency and address weather extremes. Astarte Farm has been no till since 2014 and will provide insight into various aspects of their system\, highlighting trials using leaf mulch to reduce weed pressure and use of plastic mulch.
