DESCRIPTION:Join Willie Crosby of Fungi Ally for this hands on workshop exploring the fungi kingdom. Participants will learn the basic mushroom life cycle and ecological roles fungi play. We will demonstrate how mushrooms can be grown in the garden on woodchips\, logs and stumps. All participants will get to inoculate and take home a mushroom log! \nThis is a FREE workshop but space is limited to 30 participants. DESCRIPTION:Come learn how to remediate and rejuvenate soil while helping The Bower Studio grow! For Earth Day\, join Brandon J. Wala of Fungi Ally and Cliff Dornbusch for a hands on workshop in soil remediation with Oyster Mushrooms and Sunflowers. Discover how fungi and plants work together to remediate contaminants in soil to restore fertility and repair the land. This workshop will also help The Bower Studio to create a garden for growing medicinal herbs and other produce to offer in the shop. After the workshop\, starting at 7pm\, all workshop participants are invited to join in a community potluck and seed exchange inside the store. This workshop is offered on a sliding scale of $3 to $15.
