SUMMARY:Dinner in the Fields at Crimson & Clover Farm
DESCRIPTION:Crimson & Clover Farm is teaming up with Wheelhouse Farm Truck for an evening of community\, celebration & delicious food. \nJoin them for a sit-down\, multi-course meal featuring Crimson & Clover’s own food\, served in the very fields where the food was grown. They’re bringing Wheelhouse Farm Truck into a fallow field\, setting up tables and chairs in the middle of farm beauty\, and sharing a multi-course feast of early September bounty with community members\, shareholders\, and Crimson & Clover farmers. \nSchedule \n4:30 PM – Arrive and gather.\n4:45 PM – Snack and field walk with Nate/Jen.\n5:15 PM – First course served. Family-style dinner.\n7:00 PM – Full bellies\, departures. \nMenu\nSmall plate:\nVegetable brodo with golden beets and fennel \nSalad course:\nYoung greens with cherry tomatoes\, toasted butternut seeds\, feta and currant vinaigrette \nMain course:\nCrispy pork belly served over sweet corn succotash with paprika peppers and kale \nCharred cippolini onions\nPomegranate slaw of red cabbage and cilantro \nDessert course:\nSweet cheese with raspberry-sherry compote \nBYOB \nPlease let Crimson & Clover Farm know well in advance if you have any food allergies and we’ll do our best to accomodate\nAttire: Pick-your-own\, farm casual.
