Hiring: Baker/Cook- Red Fire North

“Position: Baker/Cook

Who we are: Red Fire North is a year-round, full-service grocery store in Montague Center, affiliated with Red Fire Farm. We specialize in organic, vegetarian, and fair-trade foods, plants and produce, grocery, bakery, garden, and artisan gifts. Learn more at www.redfirenorth.com.

What we are looking for: Bakers and cooks who have experience with or interest in local, organic, and vegetarian food.

Hours: 6-12 hours a week (although more could be discussed).

Duties: Food preparation (for soups, empanadas, and more), goodie baking (including gluten free and vegan baking), snack making (granolas, crackers, snack mixes), and more!

Compensation: $13.50/h and 10% store discount.

Additionally, as part of a transition to retirement, the ownership of Red Fire North will be assumed by a team of worker/owners in the next few years. We are seeking Motivated Individuals to join this team. The successful candidate(s) will provide energy, time and creative hard work and I will provide training, mentorship and financial support.
