Hiring: Bakers – Hawthorne Valley Farm
Hawthorne Valley Farm’s artisan bakery produces a full line of organic breads and pastries every day for sale in our onsite store and at five weekly farmers’ markets throughout New York City. We’re looking to hire two full time bakers. Join us as we make yeasted and sourdough breads (ask us about Henry, our 30 year old sourdough starter) as well as a full line of pastries. We mill flour on site to ensure freshness and quality and grow an increasing amount of the grain we use right here on the farm. This is one of the rare places where a baker can gain experience producing all types of products from scratch in a hands-on environment, while also interacting with customers on a daily basis.
