Hiring: Communications Manager – FINE

FINE is Hiring a Communications Manager!

The Farm to Institution New England team is excited to announce that we’re hiring a communications manager! This is a full-time position at FINE that will lead our communications and information technology efforts. The communications manager is a key member of our remote team, and is central to both the external network services FINE offers (events, meetings, and metrics) and programs (campus, foodservice, policy, etc), as well as to the internal work of running a small, dynamic nonprofit (strategic planning, work planning, development, and administration activities). We rely on excellent and frequent communication to be responsive to network partners, support the efficiency of our project teams, and reinforce our brand.

All FINE staff work remotely in highly collaborative teams and are driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in everything we do. The ideal candidate will live in New England or have an interest in moving to one of the six New England states. There is potential for all FINE staff to take on more responsibility over time.

Farm to Institution New England (FINE) ( is a six- state network of nonprofit, public and private entities working together to transform our food system by increasing the amount of good, local food served in our region’s schools, hospitals, colleges and other institutions. The FINE network consists of non-profit organizations, government agencies, institutions, foundations, farms, food distributors, food processors, food service operators and others. FINE serves those at the forefront of the farm to institution movement in the region, providing a forum to connect and share ideas, models, resources, and support.
