Curbside Pickup and Mail-Order Store Coordinator, & Sat Market

Full Time
Year Round (hours vary during year relating to growing season and shipping store holiday demands– Dec-March is less hours than remainder of year)
Schedule: Nov-May M-F, some small remote tasks may come up over the weekend;  Wednesdays are 10:30-6:30 and other days are 7:30-4:15; June-Oct (during market season) the schedule is M, T, W, F, Sat.  Sat schedule June-Oct includes part of Saturday market and Saturday Distribution (Sat hours: 10:30-6:30).

– Online platform management (multiple platforms: Local Food Marketplace, Wix, Etsy)
– Customer communications
– Inventory management (ordering, stocking, expiration management, data entry, cycle counting)
– Product procurement and ordering
– Packaging supplies tracked, ordered, restocked and kept tidy
– Packing orders for curbstore and for mail-order store
– Understanding of cold-chain management and other health safety parameters
– Timely preparation of materials for bookkeeping (expenses, sales by product and payment type, refund amounts and allocation, etc)
– Preparation of reports (cost analysis, marketing plan, buying trends, etc)
– Marketing promo (preparation of information, photos, etc for newsletter)
– Additional time is filled in with farm projects (project type depends on what is needed during that available time, typically greenhouse, washhouse or flower prep)
– Restocks market specialty products weekly
– Part of the Saturday Amherst Farmers Market team

– online marketing experience
