Hiring: Fall Field Crew – Bardwell Farm

Job Title: Fall Field Crew / Part-time Positions Available

Job Description: Bardwell Farm is seeking motivated people that are interested in agriculture, enjoy working outdoors and aren’t afraid of hard work. Individuals have to work well with others and/or by themselves on a variety of different tasks throughout the week. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing of produce, as well as use, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools and/or equipment. Individuals must be willing to learn, collaborate and grow with our small but busy farm. Employees will work directly with owner and other crew members on a variety of tasks.

Work Agreement
• Full/part-time, 2-4 days a week, more depending on time of season
• As needed depending on time of season
• Salary $11-12 per hour (based on experience)
• September-November
• 30-day evaluation

Skills/Qualifications Preferred
• Agricultural experience preferred
• Loves the outdoors
• Willingness to work hard
• Ability to do physical labor
• Can lift at least 25-50lbs
• Works well with others and solo if needed

Duties
• Harvest of crops
• Washing and packing of different crops
• Regular cleaning of buckets, crates, equipment, and tools used in harvest and wash areas
• Field preparation and clean-up, planting, harvesting, and washing of vegetables
• Weed control/cultivation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization meeting FSMA standards

Additional Tasks
• Take photos for social media
• Strive to meet all FSMA Standards
