Hiring: Farm Crew – Astarte Farm

Come join our five person crew and learn greenhouse pruning and trellising, transplanting, weeding, harvesting field crops, & washing and packing produce for delivery all within our no-till intensive system. We use no-till agriculture to maintain soil micro-biology which translates to different types of bed preparation with varied mulches and fabrics. We do extensive pollinator and predator habitat.

This position is 25-30 hours, with the opportunity to extend hours. At least one season of experience is required for this position. An ideal candidate demonstrates clear communication, ability to follow instructions and work in a group, self-motivation and attention to detail. Starting hourly rate is $11.
