Hiring: Farm Stand, U-Pick, and Festival Staff – Warner Farm
Part-Time Farm Stand, U-Pick Strawberries and Strawberry Fest Staff
Job Description: Warner Farm is seeking individuals to help staff our farm stand. Warner Farm has two open air farm stands that are open from early June to early July. Farm Stand staff is responsible for selling our farm fresh produce and must be comfortable regularly interacting with people. Farm Stand staff is also responsible for guiding and assisting U-pick customers during regular hours and for special Strawberry Fest activities. Flexible shifts, during daytime hours are available, including weekdays and weekends. Farm Market Staff reports directly to the Direct Market Manager.
Duties include: greet customers and provide friendly and informed customer service; perform accurate cash handling and security; assist in maintaining a safe parking area; follow all opening and end-of-day systems; maintain product display; answering customer questions about our farm and produce; attending weekly check-in meetings with management; providing management with feedback regarding sales; all duties are to be performed in a manner to promote a positive image of Warner Farm and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- An outgoing personality
- Ability to be outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
Preferred Skills:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous retail experience
This is a seasonal, part-time position for June through July. $11/hr and access to delicious, fresh produce.
