Hiring: General Manager – Old Creamery Co-op
The Old Creamery Co-op in Cummington Massachusetts is looking for a General Manager.
We are seeking a GM who will ensure that the Old Creamery Co-op continues to be a vibrant center of Cummington and the surrounding communities. A full-service grocery store, deli, and café, the Old Creamery Co-op currently has annual sales of nearly $1.8 million, 20 employees, and over 900 member-owners.
The Creamery is a cornerstone of community life in Cummington, MA, a small town nestled along the scenic Westfield River, in the foothills of the Berkshires.
Candidates must have senior management experience in a retail food business and strong skills in financial management, marketing, problem solving, communication, and community building. We seek a leader who embraces challenge and who has vision, compassion, and a sense of humor. Food service experience would be a plus.
