Farm Kitchen Crew
Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring kitchen crew members for the 2021 season. Full-time positions start in July and run through Thanksgiving. Must be able to work Monday through Saturday with speed, endurance, and good cheer. Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 8am-1pm every other Saturday, up to 50 hours per week. Part time schedules (4 days/week) also possible, and opportunity for part time work through the winter.
Previous farm or kitchen experience with ServeSafe preferred. Responsibilities include working to harvest and preserve vegetables grown on the farm, and processing, bottling, and packaging of specialty food products.
Strong attention to detail and food safety, safe handling of equipment, ability to lift 50 lbs., work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential. We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who want to do the work necessary to provide our community with the highest quality products possible.
Starting wage is $14/hour plus overtime > 40 hours/week, plus organic vegetables.
