Hiring: Kitchen Crew – Kitchen Garden Farm

Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring kitchen crew members for the fall season to process the farm’s organic produce into award-winning specialty food products (sriracha, salsa, tomato sauces, pickles, etc.). Full-time positions start ASAP and run through December, with possibility of part time winter hours. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work Monday through Saturday with speed, endurance, and good cheer.  Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 8am-1pm on Saturdays, up to 50 hours per week. Part time schedules (4 days/week) are also available.

Previous farm or kitchen experience with ServeSafe preferred. Responsibilities in the kitchen include working to process and preserve crops grown on the farm, and also making, bottling, and packaging finished products. Kitchen team also harvests crops in the field.

Valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail and food safety, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential. We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who want to do the work necessary to provide our community with the highest quality food possible.

Starting wage is $13/hour plus overtime > 40 hours/week.
Location: 131 S. Silver Lane, Sunderland, MA

Pay: $13/ hour, plus overtime > 40 hours/week, and unlimited vegetables.
