Hiring: Multiple positions – Natural Roots Farm

NATURAL ROOTS FARM is a diverse, horse-powered, family farm focusing on organic vegetable and berry production for a 200-family CSA, plus winter share, laying hens, and winter logging.

We offer 10 to 12 month APPRENTICESHIP positions beginning in March, featuring in-depth teamster training and daily hands-on horse driving experience in a production setting.  Management experience offered in many aspects of the farm.

We are also seeking FULL TIME and PART TIME HELP from April 15 to October 31 for general field work.  Transplanting, trellising, mulching, pruning, weeding, harvesting, and washing and packing produce.  Looking for energetic, positive, detail-oriented folks who can work well in a team and also independently.  Starting wage is $12 / hour with prior vegetable experience.
