Hiring: Part-Time Position – Beets & Barley Catering

Beets & Barley Catering, a vegetarian catering company based in Haydenville, MA seeks part time employee to help with kitchen prep and events.  Position starts in mid-October and schedule will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 10-6.  Compensation will be $12-$14/hour to start depending on experience.

Tasks will include:

• Prepping produce from local farms
• Dishwashing
• Delivering meals to customers
• Helping to staff farmers market booth selling prepared foods
• Helping with all aspects of catering event service- set up, serving, bussing, dishwashing

Required qualifications include:

• At least 2 years previous kitchen work experience
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability in a fast paced environment
• Passion for cooking and locally grown food
• Drivers license
• Strong customer service skills

Following skills a plus, additional hours possible for someone with experience in:

• Bookkeeping
• Photography, especially food photography
• Graphic design
• Managing social media
