Hiring: Temporary Production Worker – Real Pickles

Temporary Real Pickles Production Work (Greenfield, MA) 

Real Pickles is a worker cooperative in Greenfield, MA, producing raw, fermented pickled foods from Northeast-grown, organic vegetables. Seeking temporary production help which includes all aspects of production, including preparing fresh vegetables for fermentation (in season) and packaging finished product into glass jars. We make dill pickles, sauerkrauts, kimchi, ginger carrots, beets, kvass and hot sauce.

Work is physically demanding and repetitive. Applicants should be hard-working, reliable, and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently. Experience with commercial food production, farming and natural foods is strongly preferred. We are following federal and state guidelines for workplace safety under COVID-19, including social distancing, mask use, and enhanced safety protocols.

We are hiring for 3-5 shifts per week. Shifts are Monday and Friday 7am-1:30pm or 1:30pm – 8pm with 1/2 hour break, and Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-5:15pm with a 45 min break. Job begins in November and will be for at least a month. There is potential for a permanent position in the future. Please do not apply if you are not available for at least 3 full shifts.
