Hiring: Garden Workers – Left Field Farm

Left Field Farm, a certified organically managed farm specialized in the raising of bedding plants as well as vegetable production, needs workers for the spring and summer season.  No prior farm work experience is required but we are looking for people who want to learn more about horticulture and agriculture, especially on a small commercial scale. We seek individuals who have the capacity to focus on the task at hand and who work well in groups as well as individually.

Garden workers – These positions may include some heavy lifting duties such as digging garden bed aisles, building and turning compost piles, raised bed preparation, digging and removal of rocks from the garden and setting up trellising systems, weeding and picking. These positions start in May and continue through to the end of the growing season.
