What employers need to know to be prepared for ICE visits to the workplace

Please join CISA and Attorneys Marylou Fabbo and Kayla Snider of Skoler, Abbott & Presser, PC for an informative webinar about employers’ rights if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (better known as “ICE”) arrives at your farm or workplace. Learn what practical steps you can take to prepare in advance for an unexpected ICE visit; what ICE agents and employees can and cannot do; the difference between administrative and judicial warrants; access to public vs. private areas of the workplace; how to interact with ICE agents and document your interactions; and whom to contact for legal assistance. Attorneys will not be able to provide individual legal advice, but there will be time for Q&A and participants will be able to ask questions anonymously. The $15 fee will help us offset presenter costs and avoid having to limit participant numbers, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. A Zoom link with login information will be provided to all registrants the day before the webinar.
