Pick-Your-Own Farms that Accept HIP and SNAP

Pick-your-own, also called PYO or U-Pick, is a great way to get outside and connect with your local farms and food system! There are lots of options for PYO farms in the Connecticut River Valley. HIP Farm Options

Red Fire Farm – Granby, MA

Pick your own items are seasonal but include windows for strawberries, peas (snap, shell & snow), perennial herbs (oregano, chives, thyme, peppermint, spearmint, tarragon, sage, basil, parsley & more), blueberries, green & yellow beans, assorted cut flowers, cherry tomatoes (15+ varieties!), paste tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, tomatillos, peaches (check for availability), hot peppers, sweet mini peppers, apples (check for availability), and pumpkins (Jack-O-Lantern, pie & exotic).

Sapowsky Farms – Granby, MA

Park Hill Orchard – Easthampton, MA

Pick-your-own blueberries and apples in the fall. Find updates about open and closing dates and more information on their website here!

Kosinski Farms – Westfield, MA

Clarkdale Fruit Farm – Deerfield, MA

SNAP Only Farm Options

Warner Farm – Sunderland and Greenfield, MA

HIP/SNAP Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares that include U-Pick 

Crimson and Clover Farm – Florence, MA

Yellow Stonehouse Farm – Westfield, MA
