Tuesday Market takes place from 1:30-6:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the pedestrian plaza between Thornes Marketplace and the Parking Garage in Downtown Northampton. Take a look through the gallery above and plan a visit before the market closes for the season in early November.
This month, MassLive Food visited the market with cookbook author Jennifer Trainer Thompson. It was a rainy day but they took a walk through the lively market anyway and found many foods that Thompson calls for in her latest book, "Eat Right for Your Sight." The cookbook features 85 recipes for every meal with a focus on good nutrients for eye health.
They also picked ingredients to make a recipe and it is featured on the @MassLiveFood Instagram.
