Low-Tech Winter Gardening Workshop

We’ll be reviewing, observing and demonstrating how to build, plant and manage unheated winter gardens in high and low tunnel hoophouses, including schedules and propagation details for keeping nutrient-dense greens, alliums, brassicas, etc, alive, all winter, without the use of fossil fuel. Class includes a demo of simple pipe (EMT conduit) bending, a greenhouse tour and comparitive greens tasting. Suggested donation $25-$35 includes all-farm lunch.
