Small Engine Mechanics with SG Groat

Description
In this practical, hands-on training, participants will dive deep into the inner workings of 2 and 4 stroke gasoline engines. Understanding, how they function, their systems and parts, preventative maintenance, and how to diagnose common issues. Participants are encouraged to bring their own 2 stroke or 4 stroke small, gasoline engines to work on!
About the Facilitator:
Since 2018, SG Groat (they/she/he) has been providing timely, honest and affordable service and repair work and teaching farmers how to operate and maintain equipment around the Hudson Valley. Though SG loves to repair equipment, they’ve found they are most joyous when teaching. Throughout their work, they strive to make mechanical information more accessible to Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, people of color, women and non-binary folks.
