Immediately after the summer meeting of the Greater Quabbin Food Alliance, you are invited to join Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust and Quabbin Harvest for A Celebration of Farms.

Stop by Quabbin Harvest co-op to taste some local treats, enjoy samples of local beer, and help out in the garden outside. Then venture upstairs to view some videos and photos of local farmers and learn about how you can help sustain our food system in the future!
Support local farms: Farm-to-table dinner

Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner catered by Diemand Farm in Wendell, with fresh salad greens from Seeds of Solidarity Farm in Orange. During the dinner, you’ll hear stories from John Moore and other local farmers and learn about the history of farm conservation in our region from Mount Grace Executive Director Leigh Youngblood.
You’ll also hear how you can get involved in saving farms and rebuilding our food system at the official launch of “Food and Farming in the Quabbin Region: A Community Food System Assessment of Athol, Barre, Hardwick, Orange, Petersham, and Warwick.”
