Annual Chestnut Festival at Big River Chestnuts

We’re excited for the Annual Chestnut Festival 2025 on Saturday, October 11th, 11am-5pm! A celebration of chestnuts (of course) but also tree crops, good local food, and community. We hope to have new demos and happenings this year. Updates forthcoming later this summer.

The festival relies on volunteer support every year. Reach out if you are interested in joining the great team and helping make the chestnut festival happen this fall!  We are looking for motivated individuals who want to join our festival prep and planning team this summer. We’re also looking for people who want to help out at the event itself; setup, event fun, cleanup, and more. Let us know of your interest.
