Birds and Breakfast

May 1, 2016 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 am

Birds and Breakfast is back for its 5th year of spotting beautiful birds and enjoying bountiful breakfasts!  Join Pete McLean for a 2 hour bird walk around the varied habitats of Book & Plow Farm. Once the group has seen its fair share of bird beauties we retire to the top of Tuttle Hill where a beautiful farm breakfast has been prepared by breakfast chefs extraordinaire Sky Loth and Erin Ferrentino.  If you have been to Birds and Breakfast in the past then you know these ladies spare no expense in serving up a proper breakfast.  Last year’s Bird Boasts: Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Bobolink, Eastern Meadowlark, and Blue-Winged Warbler.  Last year’s Breakfast Boasts: Huevos Rancheros, Bacon-Spinach Frittata, Raspberry Scones, Cinnamon Raison French Toast, and the always popular Eggs/Sausage/Potatoes/Onions in a huge cast iron skillet!  The program begins at 7:00 AM at the Book & Plow Farm greenhouse and breakfast is served from 9:00 AM to whenever you need to get back to your Sunday.

Cost: $20 to $30 sliding scale.  Cash.  Day of.  Kids under 8 eat free.

Registration: The Cooks need to know how much pancake batter to make, so please register on the Book and Plow website.
If you can’t make it to the May 1st event Birds and Breakfast will be happening every Sunday in May!
