Hampshire & Franklin Counties Farmers’ Market Manager Forum

Each year CISA brings market managers together for a time to meet, share best practices, get ideas for new concepts to implement at your market, learn from one another and improve overall operation of markets in and around Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire Counties. We realize many of you have started your season and others will soon open and we’ve heard from many that you would like to have the opportunity to convene.
Topics for discussion include:
- SNAP matching fundraising idea sharing
- Expanding markets’ customer base led by Devon Whitney-Deal of the Greenfield Farmers’ Market/CISA and Mary Loughlin from The Food Bank of Western MA.
- A FINI 2016 SNAP matching grant update by DTA
- An overview of the CISA/Hampden County SNAP matching program
CISA welcomes Market managers, Steering committee members, and Market volunteers to attend. Hamden county managers are also welcome if they would like to participate. Come with questions, and be willing to share your thoughts and experiences.
