Local sugar shacks have mostly closed for the season, but you can buy delicious, local maple syrup and maple products at local farm stands year-round! If you need help finding maple, see our online guide for options near you.
If you want one more celebration of pancakes, join us for Spirit of Springfield’s World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast!
2024 World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast
We’re starting off our season of Making Food Fun events by partnering with our friends at The Farmers’ Market at Forest Park and Mass Farmer’s Markets for a morning of fun and games. Stop by and try our spinney wheel and take home a treat to start your season.

- Adults – $3 per person
- Children – $1

- Pancakes
- Syrup–Not local. They use 450 gallons of syrup, which would be a challenge to supply for an event like this.
- Cabot Creamery Butter–Yea! Many of our local dairy farmers participate in the Cabot cooperative. They use 350 pounds of butter to make the pancakes and top with another 4,700 pounds of butter for serving.
