Pollinators Supporting Agriculture – A Talk with Tom Sullivan

May 14, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Tom Sullivan, gardener, horticultural leader, landscape designer, former beekeeper, public speaker and workshop leader works to rapidly increase the numbers of pollinators and the number of species for those species to live and multiply. He dreams of large inter-connected habitats where pollinators are free to prosper unhindered by mowing machines or pesticides to live out complete life cycles.

Since 2009 Tom has been speaking out about the importance of conserving, enhancing and providing native bee habitats, that also give shelter to many other insects as well.

The New Salem Agricultural Commission will be sponsoring a free workshop on at the New Salem Library.  For more information about Tom Sullivan, visit pollinatorswelcome.com. RSVP not required.
